Designing Tech Accessories With CaseApp

I am one for making everything I possess look aesthetically pleasing and do not make any exceptions when it comes to my phone. Finding the right phone case for me is a task and a half, I’m super fussy, I like a plain and simple case yet with a pretty design, nothing too fancy but nothing too boring either. I have always been a fan of personalised phone cases but these often come with a hefty price tag (well, for a phone case anyway) and I have never found ones right for me – that was until I discovered Caseapp. Caseapp is an online company specialising in technology cases, ranging from iPhone to Samsung to MacBook and Ipads – whatever your device, Caseapp has your back.

I spent far too much time than I’d like to admit nosing through the available designs as well as trying to design my own. I experimented with the cliparts that are available on the website and also with my own images, needless to say, my artistic talents did not shine through and I opted to go for a pre-made design.

As you can see from the images I went for a kind of matching case for my phone and skin for my laptop. I wanted a simple design that I would not go off after a few weeks and thought polka dot was perfect for this! I went for the pale pink for my phone case and the white for my laptop skin and together, they look pretty cute.

So, for the case, I went for a pale pink with black polka dots and I love it – it feels to be of a very high quality, fits tight around my phone, is comfy to hold and I feel like my phone is safe in it. The design on the case is well printed and not pixilated as I was expecting, I cannot, however, comment on the quality of the personalised cases with pictures but the reviews I have seen regarding them are positive. I am so happy with the phone case and will 100% be ordering more from Caseapp when necessary and let’s face it, there are hundreds of designs to choose from so I’m bound to see many more that take my fancy.

For the Macbook Skin – it has transformed my laptops aesthetics! When I first got my MacBook in 2016 I ordered a skin from Amazon and it was awful, it didn’t fit and just looked a bit cheap and naff, the Caseapp skins, however, are something else! It fits my laptop perfectly, is easy to put on and is a good quality of being quite thick as opposed to thin and flimsy. For the skin, I went for the white version of the polka dot print case and I love it – I was sceptical about it not ‘suiting’ the laptop but boy was I wrong – it looks fab!

With regards to shipping, when I placed my order I was told that my items would be shipped within 7-10 working days and honestly, I was a little gutted because the inner child in me could not wait for the order to arrive. I placed the order in the late evening of May 27th and just FOUR days later they arrived – it’s needless to say I was pretty impressed with the speed of the delivery. The items were packaged well as I was slightly concerned that the skin, especially would get damaged but this was not the case.

Overall I’m really happy with the designs I went for both the case and the skin, I think they compliment each other perfectly and are not something that is too seasonal or that I will get bored. I would not hesitate to recommend Caseapp to a friend as the experience I have had with them has been nothing but positive, they have the facilities to really go to town on designing your own case for many different models of technology with adding clipart, personal images, text, borders etc – if you cannot find something you like – you can simply design your own!

Caseapp kindly gave me a 20% off code to share THELIFEOFGEE20 however, this code runs out on the 31st of June so don’t mess around!
